Description

Our beef biltong is dry-aged, cured beef hand-seasoned with a traditional South African spice blend and slowly air-dried, never smoked, never cooked. Available as biltong slices from 6 oz to 1 lb, this sliced beef biltong is true South African beef biltong, made fresh to order in small batches.

Wind-dried at low temperature rather than smoked or oven-dried like commercial jerky, it stays tender instead of tough. Naturally high in protein with virtually no carbs, it's a top low carb snack for keto, paleo, and carnivore diets this keto biltong pairs great with avocado or eggs for a clean high protein snack. Customize it sliced or slab, with or without fat, wet or dry.

Expedited shipping is recommended for deliveries to hot climate states.

Wet vs. Dry Biltong

  • Wet biltong is less dehydrated, with a moist, red interior similar to a rare steak (no blood). It's prone to mold due to moisture, so removing it from the plastic bag and storing it in a cool, dry place is best. We are not responsible for mold caused by improper storage.

  • Dry biltong is more dehydrated, with a drier, browner interior similar to a well-done steak, and holds up longer in storage.

Once opened, consume within 3 days.
