Lowfeld Soul Food is excited to be holding the inaugural Charleston, South African Festival, with special guests, The Campbells
In our travels, we have experienced great happiness through meeting wonderful South Africans across the Low-country and dreamt of a time when we could bring all together to connect and enjoy a weekend of SA culture and festivities.
The 2-day event will feature delicious food, entertaining music by The Campbells, connecting with new and old friends, and other fun activities for the whole family.
The festival will be held on the gorgeous Lowfeld Soul Food property, just outside of Charleston (Awendaw), South Carolina.
Event Schedule
Friday Evening - 3:00 pm
A “Bring-And-Share” evening, where we encourage Potjie Kos lovers to bring and share their skills.
Our resident Potjie Kos Experts will be on hand to judge the skills, recipes, texture, and taste.
Prizes will be awarded!
Food to be served by 6:00 pm

There will be a traditional South African Braai on Saturday night, including Lamb Chops, Boerewors, and Chicken.
Basic salads will be provided. We ask everyone to bring a sharable salad or dessert for Saturday evening.
Cost
- Adult: $50 per Person,
- Child: $30 per child, ages 6 - 12,
- Children Under 6: Free
- Show Only (no meal): $30
Prices include the cost of The Campbell's show.
Please order all meals in advance to ensure availability.
Boerewors rolls will be on sale on-site as well.

The Charcuterie basket will include delicious, refreshing South African wine, biltong, droëwors, biltong powder, crackers, and cheese. Sharable for 2-3 people
(Wine can also be purchased separately)

Vendors will be on-site, selling South African delicacies throughout the day. Vendors need to purchase tickets. Although free, we need to know who is interested. Please see below. Vendors will have to purchase tickets for the show.

Rules
Cleanup: Please help us keep the property clean and get rid of the trash properly by throwing it in the trash cans provided.
If you see something on the ground, please pick it up and discard it in the nearest trash can.
We ask that all attendees take into consideration that this is a family event with attendees of all ages.
Please ensure you dress appropriately, behave yourself, use alcohol moderately, and use appropriate language.
All attendees must bring their tables and chairs.
We ask that attendees don't bring any glass products.
All attendees must check in at the check-in stand, which will be clearly marked. You will receive a wristband that must be clearly visible at all times.
The property is, unfortunately, too small for pets, so please do not bring any pets.
